The AI in the Mustang vs Mustang race appears pre-determined from each waypoint. Not that I expected anything else. Not seen much sign of NFS rubber band AI on the loose stage. Got taken out about half way through and only made up half the gap by the finish, which was around 4 seconds.
I'm distinctly unimpressed by the handling. There's some Forza-i-ness in there somewhere but it's well hidden. Even with everything off it still feels like the assists are interfering and the ABS Off is horribly sharp. No sign of the FM4 tyre physics in there - it's more like FM3.
I'm kinda hoping the final version is bit better - previous FM3/FM4 demos didn't drive like the release version. I'll give it a try, see if it grows on me. The online experience will likely make the game, cruising around with my mates etc.
It’s devastatingly gorgeous. It’s like Emma Stone playing bass guitar in her underpants.

What kind of tuning will be available? Will it bbe like forza where you can tune a car and give it insane amounts of power?
pretty dissapointed that its not tunable, what about all these drifters who want to drift on roads![]()
