Nurishment

I used to love these especially Vanilla. Probably have a couple in the cupboard still, usually a go to when feeling ill and can't stomach any real food.

After looking at the carbohydrate to sugar content, you must genuinely hate your own body and be purposefully wanting to make it suffer if you choose to drink these.

yup

that's what lots of these multi-vitamin supplements do - basically a waste of money, consume the needless supplement then end up urinating most of it away....

My body must always be starving then. I take multi-vites and at most my urine is only light yellow after my breakfast and dose of vits, minerals and fatty acids.

Also I'm awfully tempted to try a can of Nurishment now :D

Do you feel the same about drinks like Lucozade?
How odd

When I did pizza delivery for a well known pizza chain, a lot of my fellow workers drank this stuff from the pound shop next door. I avoided it based on appearance alone.

Lucozade is horrible too. The thing is this nurishment drink contains so much sugar, but also tastes disgusting.

If people arent so bothered about sugar content in drinks, why did sunny delight get nerfed so many years ago while it still contained less sugar than coke?

When I was a kid that stuff was like crack. Every day after school I'd go straight to the fridge.

Same here, I couldnt get enough sunny D and then they had to nerf it due to public outrage, even though it contained less sugar than pop drinks.

People confused it with real fruit juice because they were daft, just one sip and you could tell it was just fake liquid candy. Todays sunny delight tastes terrible.

At least that stuff actually tasted awesome, unlike pop / energy / protein drinks with silly amounts of sugar.

Sunny D - aimed at children
Energy/MRP drinks - not aimed at kids

Quite a difference. You know what market these drinks are aimed at don't you?

Well yea, but then this happens:

:D

I'd still choose to drink the old sugar filled sunny D drinks as an adult over most other pop drinks.

I'm more of a Diet Club Orange chap myself. I have a terrible sweet tooth but I'd go for the sugar free every time.

Can't say I know Sunny D really well. I've only had it about two or three times in my life, and I always preferred regular old orange juice over it.

bhavv, I love your advocation of egg sandwiches over whey shakes. Pure comedy cluelessness gold.
