well im open to suggestions i just want to be that side of the m25. Hasslemere seems nice, flats are a lot cheaper to rent and the train ticket is about the same. Ive got 2 or 3 months to decide anyway.

Haslemere is lovely, was voted top place to live a few years back I believe. The train station is walking distance from anywhere in the town, it's like a lovely village with a bit more, worth checking out.

Having grown up in Guildford and now living in Haslemere, it's definitely more lovely here

I lived in Surbiton last year in a small studio apartment which killed me but I was so close to the station =D and the area is incredibly nice and a short walk to Kingston.

I now live in the heart of the Kingston city centre and am there as soon as I leave my backdoor.

New Malden has a large Korean population but it has a nice road of general shops and restaurants

Stay away from that area at all costs.

Guildford is alright, night life isn't too bad if you're after night life.

Living in the centre of Kingston can hardly be cheap, although pretty awesome at the same time.

Probably the price of a 2 bed house in Swindon or oxford in the surrounding areas not I'm the city centres tbh. It has its perks, especially being near the river front with all the pubs.

Even Kingston has a notable Asian presence with quite a few takeaways, cafes and convenience stores. They're good on Sundays when all the other stores have closes and they're open till 10 XD
