Hah awh! It wasn't that bad, you were destroying me in the first half, not sure what happened to you in the second half! I think taking Pazzini off was a good idea, the guy is terrible, Destro was much better when he came on. When your Muller scored near the end of the second half I was gutted, I thought I'd turned it around at 4-3 and then that happens! Damn extra time.
Still, it was an experience.

It was a pretty epic game. You really turned it on in the 2nd half, not sure where I went. Oh yeah I have no idea who Destro is but he looks pretty damn good too. I think my CAMs aren't effective enough, I hardly notice them around. Basically I need more Fellainis. IF Fellaini is CAM, sucks that I can't play two of them in the same side
Also my FBs are pooooor. I'm going to have to break the Belgium/Germany plan for LB, and probably for RB unless I can afford to try Lahm. Might extend to Bundesliga/Belgium.
Basically you were splitting my defence with through balls so easily, really need to sort out my defence. And you're bombing me with good long shots. Also I need to stop losing the ball so easily, I'm a bit too eager to turn with the ball rather than play the simple pass. Well played dude!

I think you sohuld go full Bundesliga/Germany to be honest! Fellaini was all but nullified in that game, I think he had a lot of success against my Spanish team because of his physicality, he didn't cope as well against De Rossi/Barzagli/Chiellini I don't think. I think if you keep your 4-5-1 you could go like:
GK: Wiese
RB: Piszczek
CB: Boateng
CB: Felipe Santana
LB: Alaba
CM: Gundongan
CAM: Goetze
CAM: Muller
LM: Schurrle
RM: Sam
ST: Reus
That would give most people problems, especially me because I think your full backs are quite a weak point in the team, Beck isn't great and I think Alaba is a total beast who would improve most teams. As you already have most of those players I reckon you should at least give it a try and keep the Belgians as a second team. Dries Mertens, what a beast.

Definitely get Alaba, don't bother with Lahm he isn't worth the coins. I used him in my Germany team at the start of UT and he isn't tall enough to deal with aerial threats, he's not strong, he's not quick compared to people who he gets matched up against, he has no point at all and he's the most expensive right back in the league.
Get Gundongan though, he's awesome, if you have enough coins try and get Leitner too.

Anyone tried Iniesta or Falcao yet? I actually just played against Falcao for the first time last night and he didn't really do anything but the guy I was playing wasn't really that good.
I have these two in a team but just waiting for some players to sell to build the rest before trying it out.

I know the feeling, I'm not that keen when I have him, does some amazing stuff but slouches a lot, then I miss him when I don't have him!
might sell the Bundeslig team, get Balotelli & Podolski up top and see what happens there, also gonna try Aguero/Torres in the other team.

Anyway to stop my team mates stealing the ball when I knock on to take a shot? I.e. I'm using right thumb-stick to tap/first-touch ball forward so I can take a running shot - but my team mates always take it like it's a pass :|
This game is seriously frustrating. My pro has average rating of 9.7, has scored at least 4 goals every game played (total of 22 now), but still won't get picked for first team in anything above nPower div 1.

Is he? Was worried about Iniesta at LM, thought he might be A: too slow and b: too weak to really be effective, one or the other usually seems fine but he's not the nippiest or the toughest of characters!

You could do w/ Giovinco, but if you are planning to build a team round him for the sake fo doing so, then you are better off selling him for now and rebuying when he's 1-2k.

Yeah fair point, I've noticed that prices seem to have started to drop. What's he worth putting up for on the PS3? He's down as being worth 12k based on Futhead, but actual prices seem lower than that.
