How can I turn these 2 wires into a 3pin?

I had this on a molex plug, but the wires came out. Molex is awful anyways. It kept falling off the plugs and then the wire ripped off. Is there any why to turn these 2 wires into a 3 pin so I can then hook up these 2 fans to my mobo.

Also is there a certain way the wires have to go?

look at the 3 pin connectors plugged into the circuitboard between the fans, they only have two wires the same colours, use that as a guide. Its just a motor so the way round will just effect which way the blades spin, one direction however will push a lot more air than they other because of the way the blades are designed.

So black to black and red to red? Do you know of a 3 pin these 2 wires can go into?
 
nope no idea, might have to find an old fan and chop off the 3 pin connector and get creative with electrical tape... wont be pretty but will do the job.

p.s is your signature correct? 3770k is 3.9GHz stock isnt it? downclocked it? or are you listing the stock idle clock instead of the turbo clock?

http://ark.intel.com/products/65523 no 3770K is 3.5GHz when idle, its stock turbo clock (i.e under load) is 3.9GHz. Tho i may be reading the intel page wrong. :P just confused me since my 3570K goes to 3.8GHz when under load and drops down to 1.6GHz when idle (or 3.5GHz without speedstep).

I think google is just listing its normal clock tho, not the turbo clock. Easiest to just run prime95 or a convert a video and watch the clock in hwmonitor etc.

I don't know how to overclock. I would have to get someone to do it for me. I'll just leave it until I bottleneck. I haven't so far:)
 
The ivy bridge CPUs have a turbo mode which by default is on, it's like a mild over clock the system does automatically to give a little boost in performance when it's needed, if all you did was connect your pc up and leave the bios on defaults turbo mode will be enabled, no overclocking experience required.

On a 3 pin fan connector you'll have

Pin 1 Black - 0v or ground if you prefer
Pin 2 Red - 12v
Pin 3 Yellow - Tach

It looks like your fan you won't have tach so forget Pin 3.

The other two will need to be populated correctly. The fan connector will have a 1 to indicate position 1.

A connector off any standard 3 pin or 4 pin fan will do. If you don't have an old fan available for donation of connector you could probably pick up an extension for a couple fo quid with the right connector on.
