Is it just me or is this game taking so so so so long to come out!! feel like I have been waiting years!!

Me and my mates have been waiting since we first heard about this game being in developement.
Hopefully it's going to be as good as AvP2 (the 2004 version).

If they get the atmosphere right and manage to make it as scary as AvP a lot of people will be visiting poo city while playing this game.

AvP2 had the best multiplayer modes in a game I've ever played, the survivor mode especially was legendary.
Just a pity it was destroyed in the end by a stuck up community and hackers.

I am going to buy it for whatever co op mode it comes with. Couldn't care less about single player and probably won't touch it, Alien games excel in co op modes, this one better be good!

The last AvP game's multiplayer was horrible compared to its predecessor, the trophy kill totally spoiled it and they should have at least brought back the original survivor mode.

Also if you didn't play the single player from AvP and AvP2 you missed out as they were awesome and had some genuine pant staining moments.
I can't talk for the remake as I could never make it past the first level without getting bored.

This!

It looks like a lot of effort is going into making Colonial Marines though, including the use of original sound files from the Alien movies. I have high hopes for the game.

Played the multiplayer for this at this years Eurogamer, definitely the most fun I've had with a shooter for a long time!

It does seem like for the last 3 years or so that this game has been on the cusp of release, yet here we are and it's still not out

Hopefully it's worth the wait.

I have never had such low expectations for a game I am eagerly awaiting. I really hope they have got it right this time as any aliens game has the potential to be an all time fave with me.

It certainly seems to have the graphics of a game that should have been released over 3 years ago.

In all honesty if AvP2 had the same graphics but all the stupid hackers thrown out I'd still be playing that.
