I'll find you in battlelog over the next few days and bench from there for BF3 as I tend to float about in the smaller maps annoying people with a shotgun

+550 should take you close if not over 7ghz effective

ETA on release for the matrix then? The estimated £415 is impressive, I was expecting £500+

I suggest Nvidia cards in threads myself, that will also be in my history. go and have a look.

I think you have the wrong end of the stick, that post, whatever it is is old, just because of one old post you can't seriously be suggesting that i go around jumping on Nvidia, especially when i go around recommending them when warranted.

lol I was like that last week after swapping all my computer bits out. I put all the new bits back in and my games had all gone

I managed to get a few back without downloading but I am still missing a couple.

What's your performance like on latest drivers Greg? Mine seems down a fair bit in BF3 when I tried last night. Don't know if it is me or driver...

I will add them when PGI does his thread. We can all add our user benchmarks then and compare. I will not be getting involved in any AMD Vs Nvidia crap and only interested in benchmarks. I can easily jump in numerous threads for that debate

No reason other than I had these already downloaded and cba to download the latest while I was still fiddling with settings. I will do my benchs on these and if they are better, I will use them

My latest BF3 ones on AK on the 306.23 beta's were like minimum 56, average 84, maximum 170 from memory but not on the PC so can't check for sure.

Minimum sounds right but average and maximums are guestimations.

The problems of comparing BF3 MP benchmarks are obvious

I don't like AK I'm more of an infantry naab.

GPU core clock @ 1328MHZ and Mem +550 (24/7 stable)

Test was on Caspian Border 64 man (full) and in the thick of the action (as always)

I am pleased with those and a vast improvement from very early drivers with lows of 52 in places.

Could you run one of the more demanding maps from armoured kill like bandar or death valley?

I've seen recent benchmarks for those maps from both sides so its nice to compare.

I will do but not till tomorrow. I moved my origin folder from my SSD as it was hogging up so much room and It was fine moving everything across and I got everything working except it needs to reinstall the CQ + AK maps

I will d/l these over night though

Bargain IMO, needs waterblocks though, c'mon EK & Aquacomputer the race is on!!

Also MSI pull your finger out, about to loose the top 7970 spot unless you release a less restrictive BIOS for the Lightning
