Looks like Windows 7 users are getting it next month, and even then it's only a sodding beta. What the hell have Microsoft been doing all this time?

Its been a while since I've used a non Chrome browser day to day so I will give IE10 a go but its going to have to be very special to drag me away.

Personally, I'll never use any browser that doesn't have adblock plus.

Integrated Flash player is nice, as long as they patch Flash ASAP.

I believe there are Adblock TPLs for IE, is that what you mean?

I've spent the last few months flirting between IE9 and IE10 on different machines and I can't honestly say there is a night and day difference. It's a nice upgrade but nothing more than that.

I've installed it alongside Chrome, it seems noticeably quicker than IE9 but there are no massive interface changes if that's the kind of thing you were expecting.

Meh, I think the speed boost is quite a decent one.

On a side note, does this mean I can uninstall the Adobe Flash client from Control Panel (as it's included in the browser) or would that ruin something?

Erm, I just disable it. Not near my box so I can't check, and it's running Windows 8 anyway so I couldn't be certain it's the same for 7. Sorry!

maybe their biggest launch ever, w8, wp8, all the sdk/office/azure etc, surface.
Many of these aren't polished and have been updated days before launch and days after launch.

They don't. It only has 11.3 at the moment and its up to 11.5 now...

If you believe this report, it's the fastest browser. Although i'm a bit sceptical personally, I still feel Chrome has a slight edge.

11.3 is officially the latest version for Windows according to Adobe, so Microsoft are doing their bit.

Kind of throws a cog in the whole synchronisation with patch Tuesday tbh.
