I'm pondering getting this done but I need to know whether it's worth investigating on my budget or not. Anyone got some rough estimates?

It depends what treatment you need.
It's around 600-2000 an eye.

However there have been half price vouchers on groupon, as well as eBay every now and again.

Most also offer interest free offers as well.

Most places have free consultations. Pop along see what they say and which treatment they recommend. From their you can get a better idea.

I probably wouldn't go too budget on this. Might not end well...

That said, if there's groupon voucher it could mean you get reasonable quality for reasonable price.

When it comes to my eyes, I wouldn't want to go for any budget options!

There's isn't really a budget option, they're very much the same. You can and should check up on results and equipment etc.

But the biggest part of the price is which method you elect and you don't always have the option of the most expensive, it depends on your eyes and what they recommend is the best.

Agreed with the above,

You only get one pair of eyes, better to spend the extra if it's needed.

The problem is, the cost decides whether I'll go ahead, so whilst I'd love to get a rolls royce service, I am price sensitive. Anyone got any experience with the lower cost options?

Did you write this with predictive text?
No my spelling is usually this appalling. :p

Best advice in here, Looking at getting it done myself.

Can't understand why you would just not save more money. If we were actually talking about a Rolls Royce that would be done thing, but eyes are another entirely.

I'd book a free consultation and see what your options are, Like said some offer interest free finance which with the money you have saved may soften the blow a bit and enable you to get the treatment you are comfortable with, From what I understand you really won't get a real idea of price till someone who looked at what you actually need and gone from there.
