My Taiwanese wife is teaching english to load chinese people and she needs to know the English name for it.

Can anyone help? Something kids play with apparently I have no idea

Kids haven't played with jacks since the 70's

Actually I saw someone demonstrating them last month, but I was at the Museum of Childhood and it was some WWII re-enactment thing.

jack. you throw a ball in the air and catch as many jacks as you can before the ball lands on the floor. Rubbish game and I never understood it.
