Clio Tyres

Just a quick question got a 2003 Clio 1.2 dynamique and just need 2 front tyres sizes are 185/55/15

Was wondering what you more knowledgeable people would recommend? And is there any sites which I should use that maybe cheaper?

Looking at the 185/55R15 82H Goodyear Efficientgrip ~£64 a corner fitted if I can remember rightly.

Dunlop SP1s seem decent and similar price

Continental contiprimium contact 2s is what we use on our clip in that size. Find them excellent. Price is about the same as the goodyears you mentioned.

would you consider changing to 195/50/15? there is usually a huuuge range to choose from in that size

If they are cheaper and shall fit my existing alloys then that could be an option

£65 a corner? For 15s.

Hankook V2s (?) are cheap in 15s and get highly recommended for the Clio RSs.

195/50/15 are much cheaper. The gfs Clio needs 4 new tyres soon so will be looking at this size rather than 185/55/15. Can get decent ones for £60 fitted on event tyres.

Something with low rolling resistance would be good.

Wont matter the the rear tyres are 185 will it?

No but ideally you would put the new ones on rear.

I pay less than that for the continentals, fitted, and in the correct size.
