When I was banned I e-mailed two dons and didn't get a response from either.

EDIT: actually that's incorrect, one of them replied after my week long suspension was lifted.

See it's only rude, it isn't an attack on a person. Perhaps it is a good thing your wee limp wrist only has limited ability these days... ;)
 
I reckon Castiel, im not in gd a lot. But he comes across as a very sensible fella, when it comes to debates etc he provides very good rational opinions/answers in a very well put manner. A very mature sensible poster, something that can be lacking in some of the more serious subjects that crop up in gd.

He's not talking about that, he's talking about the fact that at times mods break the rules themselves by posting personal attacks that other members would and have been banned for.

I mailed several and I recieved and entered into a dialogue with one of them...it all got sorted out amicably and that was all there was to it really. Lessons learned and all that jazz...:)

It's a tongue in cheek example, people are boisterous all the time.

I wouldn't get upset about it.

Telling someone to shut up is neither here nor there, it is rude it is not a personal attack. You can attack someone - maul even - intelligently but that doesn't attract the same punishment as calling someone a ****.

Fortunately you don't make the rules. Telling someone to shut up is suspension worthy on here regardless of your thoughts on the matter. I've done it countless times, I'm not really sure how you think you can argue against that :confused:
