Quite enjoying Windows 8, appreciate the flak it's got from some people but once you learn the shortcuts and new way of doing things it's quite good.
Anyway, thought I'd treat myself to one of the logitech mice design for Win 8.

The books and dvd came from amazon today, bought the new Apple Ear Pods yesterday (big improvement over the old ones) and the audi magazine a few weeks ago.
Got the books as something to read before going to bed because I've been having trouble sleeping lately. I'm not much of a 'reader'.

I picked that up second hand - was looking to build one but couldn't have built for cheaper than this so decided to buy the kit.
I paid £300 for the kit as is in that photo - buying that new would be £6/700 ish. Check out the jdrones and buildyourowndrone websites, as well as the ArduCopter site for more info. It's all open source so all the software and manual is freely available online.
The radio transmitter and receiver + a couple of batteries and charger was about an extra £100 from HobbyKing.

Broke my HTC Sensation so decided to buy a phone on the cheap, was bored of android so I thought I'd give Windows Phone a go with the Lumia 800, bought a genuine nokia soft touch cover for it and its not a bad phone considering its age.

Thanks to someone else in this thread, i ended up ordering a HP Microserver for all of about £115 (once the rebate arrives) it arrived this week along with an HDMI graphics card and finally the Wireless Keyboard/Mouse arriving today to complete the set.
It's now my Media Server. As we speak i'm copying 100gb of movies onto it, as a starting point. Just need to tidy up the cabling a bit, and then make two final purchases. Blu-ray drive and 8Gb of Ram (as it's so cheap!)
Oh and a decent surround sound system. I'll put the woofer on the other side of the TV unit to make it more symmetrical

lol, im not to sure what the idea of the clip is as its targeted for weight lifters that cant make much mess in the gym, plus its new stuff, one application till you purposely wash it off does the entire session.
Climbers could use it as well, but for mid reapplication safety reasons I cant see them moving away from standard chalk in a bag.

These will serve amazingly as light kickers on stage in January when I'm shooting a wedding at Kings Theatre:
Excited doesn't even describe it given it's a unique opportunity as only 4 weddings have taken place at the theatre and neither have given permission for the pictures to be posted anywhere or even promote the theatre. I need to absolutely nail this without question!
