Not really, you might get a 6901 but what I did with my 970 is run the v7 client, seemed to get better ppd that way. Same with the 2600K.

Looks like you're right - swapped everything over to the V7 client and my RAC seems to have improved a little :)

Had a little trouble with HFM - but all good now.

I'm currently having a game of Ping-Pong email with EVGA & another online Etailer regarding my two EVGA GTX560 Ti 2WIN's - trying to decide who gets the RMA as they are both buggered!!!

I was always worried about this 2WIN's both the 460 and 560's they were so custom they just seemed like a recipe for fragility and potential disaster when pushed like we do. Might be worth while taking the hit with them and underclocking the memory and dropping the voltages wherever possible, dunno. Maybe just me of course.

Hey guys, just a quick question, how much £ would a 3770k (default clocks) cost per month, if folding 24/7? Just a rough guestimation would be fine :)
Thanks, Juan

Funnily enough I did exactly that calculation today, about £11.73 (at 119.8 W and 13.4 p/KWh, your numbers may vary).

I made a big excel spreadsheet using numbers from this article http://www.anandtech.com/show/6396/the-vishera-review-amd-fx8350-fx8320-fx6300-and-fx4300-tested/3 My conclusions for anyone interested were: if electricity costs are no object, get an FX 8320. Over the short term (9 months) the FX 8350 is best value using real leccie prices. Over times longer than that the 3570K wins. (It takes 7-9 months of 24/7 running for the initial price differences (£36 and £93 respectively) to be overtaken by increased running costs.

I just got my lectric bill - any ideas running my five rigs?

Lets just say over 12 months I'll be looking at over £3200

For the past three months my bill is £822 and I ain't had all five rigs running to full potential yet.

Perhaps should consider some better cost effective solutions to the 480's & 570's.......

Have you gone to a site like Uswitch and got the best deal? after 12 yrs with British Gas that's what I did a couple of weeks ago.

Im going to be change soon too!

WOW loudbob that makes me alittle worried about running 2x sr-2 24/7 or near enough in the near future.

Make sure on u switch or moneyupermarket you put in the kwh used rather than the cost per year. The key is to find tariffs which are a cheaper rate after x amount as you make the most of the cheaper rate with the large volumes used.
