For my own purposes it's GPU performance.
Fair enough. do u do a lot of graphics intensive work or play games?

I can see a potential massive cluster **** of confusion when some manufacturers start making 7" tablets that run Windows Phone 8, and others start making them running Windows 8 RT. If someone then also manages to make a 7" Windows 8 Pro tablet its going to be a minefield of "why does X not work on Y"?
Asus transformer book, discret gfx in the keyboard attachment, but not much details yet.Bothand one of the laptops has a 120hz panel for 3D too.
I certainly don't think the pro is bad, but I'll just wait until there's no compromises for me - especially when I still have perfectly good hardware with lots of life left in it right now![]()

. Seriously though I don't need convincing,

It seems no one has the same view of what an ecosystem is![]()
It doesn't really matter. Apps aren't that expensive, and most are rubbish or not needed.
If the OP wants to browse the web, play video, use facebook and that type of stuff, no doubt all 3 major OS will be fine.
.
Video if you want to buy digital is one of the biggest mind fields due to DRM and not any System will do as they aren't really compatible with each other.
Why won't any do? You just steam it to whatever device you want it too.
where do you buy video that has DRM anyway? I'd be pretty annoyed if bought a video online instead of a DVD and could only watch it on my tiny tab.
Sounds complicated. I run Linux so don't really know about DRM stuff.
My initial comment was more regarding watching online.
(other than streaming, which isn't very practical)
Windows drm doesn't support either apple or android.
And well android videos can only be streamed on webrowser that supports flash. So that rules out ipad/iPhone and also means you need a decent Internet connection if you want to watch a video. Which is pretty useless when the chances are when you want to watch videos on a mobile device your unlikely to have a decent Internet connectin.
It is not rubbish at all.
It means I need to have it set up and it means the device needs to support multitasking. Or you can only watch a film, whilst wasting your device.
It is no way as good as just having the file on the device.
And of course if I change Eco systems, how do iplay iTunes films on either android phone or wp8 to be able to stream in the first place?
We allready know what windows does. It's the same Zune stuff rebranded. You'll need Xbox movies to play it.
And how does downlaodable drm get around anything? It won't allow you to play iTunes movie without iTunes.
"multitasking" so you don't know how android works then!
Music and podcasts downloaded from iTunes are compatible with Android phones\tablets did you not know that?
Eco system! what's this the new words of the month? you used to say the word "infrastructure" a lot as well..
and you have not looked at DRM fusion at all(I did say google)
Hmm so use Zune Player for android then dump the xbox![]()
