Bannage for anyone that doesn't send out by the cut off date!

That was the rule last time too, problem is it wasn't enforced for various reasons, such as real life problems and if you ban them, they can't get on board them explain themselves.

And there is Shayper with his many trips to post office debacle lol.

You think you're worthy of the orange text? You'll never be worthy....!

Congrats on your womping 12k posts ;)

I wasn't too impressed by my gift last year, which I have gotten over now :p

The guy I sent stuff to though, he completely disappeared! Didn't even write a comment on what I had bought him and I'd spent £20 odd.

You need to add a rule.

Must sent via registered or recorded delivery if sent personally. It's your defence if gift failed to arrive, failure to show is ban time.

If gift sent direct from shop then screen shot of purchase with dispatch date will be your defence.

Missing either would be ban, can't say "I gave it to my mum and she sent it 2nd class, forgot to put on sender's address and its now missing in the abyss that is Royal Mail"

This is true, proof of purchase and proof of postage.

im up for this but the last 2 years haven't gone to well with the rules not being upheld.

ill join this year if a mod can stick to the rules.

@raymond:
"In the event of a dispute (due to items lost in the post) proof of postage must be provided to the event organiser/don. It would be good practice to save a screenshot of your online orders"

If you are smart you would take a photo of the receipt soon as you posted it and save it on your phone, then email it to yourself if need be, at least until your recipient confirms receipt on the forum.

"I had the receipt in my wallet but it was stolen!"

I want none of these excuses.
