They make ****ing awesome tools! All last week i was using their cordless combi drill/screwdriver, circular saw and hammer drill. The drill has such an outrageous amount of torque.

Just got myself a Makita 18v drill and it physically twists your arm when you "rev" it :) Great bit of kit and was cheap as chips!

Was a bday present but i put money towards it so that counts ;)

That is AWESOME!

You sir, win October

lol nps dude. My OH wasn't overly surprised when I put the Lego Millennium Falcon on my Christmas wish list last year. You can guess how I spent my Christmas afternoon :D

Thanks to someone else in this thread, i ended up ordering a HP Microserver for all of about £115 (once the rebate arrives) it arrived this week along with an HDMI graphics card and finally the Wireless Keyboard/Mouse arriving today to complete the set.

It's now my Media Server. As we speak i'm copying 100gb of movies onto it, as a starting point. Just need to tidy up the cabling a bit, and then make two final purchases. Blu-ray drive and 8Gb of Ram (as it's so cheap!)

Oh and a decent surround sound system. I'll put the woofer on the other side of the TV unit to make it more symmetrical :)

Where is that TV stand from? It looks like the perfect size for my living room and I've been on the lookout for something that looks nice and will hide all the cables at the back!
