Spoke to EA on the phone again today.

I have paid full price for the game, even though I'm entitled to 50% off. The guys in Ireland told me the money hasn't been taken out of our accounts yet, it will be on Friday and the 50% refund will happen at the same time.
 
If people didnt get the 50% of bonus who are premium players due to pre-ordering ages ago.

All you need to do is go to https://help.ea.com/en/origin get in line to speak to an online representative. And cancel your pre-order. All digital Pre-orders can be cancelled.

It takes 2mins after speaking to EA support, They will ask you your email, ID and thats it, then you should get an email stating it has been cancelled.


Then just go get your premiuum code, And re-pre-order the DD again. 50% off

Doesn't count, wasn't that great and I lost interest very quickly. Didn't have the right "feel" for my liking and overly complicated for a shooter. It also didn't look great either.

Kinda looking forwards to CoH2 (albeit it isn't a shooter) but the screens just look like the original CoH except with a Russian army in a snowy setting.

I'd love something like CoD2 though. I'm craving a WW2 shooter, its my favourite setting, and I'm sick of all these modern warfare shooters and so will be avoiding this game, even if it does actually turn out to be a good game.
 
Funny as a few year ago it was nothing but world war games, everyone wanted modern combat now we have plenty of choice people want world war setting again, it will just keep going in circles with better graphics and physics imo

Won't happen as FPS developers are probably stuck in the mindset that multiplayer customisation trumps multiplayer gameplay.

go play cod2 then its still one of top five fps played online
 
Probably needs an sli driver profile update, will probably be included in the next nv driver release.
 
It saddens me that this game is getting more attention (and evidently sales) than a game like Spec Ops: The Line. I guess people haven't lost their appetite for generic 'modern' FPS games just yet.
