Air Cast

I know this is a long shot, i i really hope the mods will let it stay for awhile.

Has anybody out there got an air cast i could borrow for a few months.

I'm awaiting an ankle fusion operation on my right ankle and i'm having trouble walking at all at the moment.

I was looking to buy one but due to my ankle injury i'm out of work and can't afford one.

It's getting a real struggle just to walk my kids to school now ( the school is only about 15 houses away).

I'm not sure.

I'm going to see my doctor tomorrow and see what he says.

I've had one before off the NHS but this was after a major ankle operation.

I may have to just get one off the bay and worry about the cost later.

You MIGHT be in luck.

I had one for my broken ankle/leg last year and I kept it in the garrage. I will have a look tonight to see if its still there. If not it went in the skip when we had a clean out in the summer.

Just back from the doctors and he didn't even know what one was, once i showed him online he said i would need to go to Oswestry (place where op will be) and see if they can sort me one.
