IKEA LACK TV bench

Can someone who owns this tv bench please do me a favour and measure the height gap inside to make sure i can fit my chunky amp in?

There are no such measurements on the ikea site.

if it's an AV amp, even if you manage to wedge it in there, it still needs space around the vents...

It's tiny no chance. The whole thing is 35cm high, the gap won't be more than 15-20.

Don't have it anymore but its about 16cm iirc.

It fit my onkyo 307 amp in with the feet taken off.

Get the Besta Bench if you can afford it and fit the draws to it. I pushed two together, you've got some options too then. Can fit my Denon in quite nicely.

I remember when people used to use the LACK bookcase as an AV unit. It looked perfect.

The LACK TV bench is useless for anyone with AV gear. Chris1712 is spot on, it's absolutely tiny. I don't even think they make the bookcase any more?

BDI Cassata is the bench you want! I is getting one next month. Tad expensive though.

Just checked and its 15cm. Pretty useless for AV but fine for consoles and sky boxes etc. Just to clarify mine is the straight bench, you can get a corner one which may be a bit taller iirc.

£1500 WOW. Just imagine the screen and projector you could get for that instead of some expensive cupboard to stand your tiny 50" tv on
