I think the reason for Sunday trading laws is so everyone gets a day off at the same time as everyone else. Which is a good thing. Anyone who works weekends should understand how poo it is. However I don't believe it's the work of Satan.

Everyone? Everyone? That's not strictly true is it?

If the "laws" changed it shouldn't be forced on people, it should be optional to existing employees and with new employees a discussed term. (in places where this isn't the norm now).
