Medal Of Honour: Warfighter

bloody hell the games not has bad people making it out. Yes its not better than BF3 but it sure is better than COD witch every person buys every year, spending £40 for Map DLC and a 6hour SP.
If you paid £25 or less then you got your money worth.
 
So far so good, I wouldn't say it's a AAA title but the MP squad based DM is actually very good as it promotes teamplay. The graphics look very washed out in MP but the campaign looks stunning the little I've tried.

Overall 6.5/10 initial impressions :)
 
Ignoring the graphics, the game it isn't too bad. When you think back to how big CS 1.6 was and it's graphics are horrible you'll realize it doesn't make or break a gaming title.

Noticed a bit of lag in some MP games, presume this is probably my wireless at work though.

Real Ops is good fun though
 
Why have all the reviewers got their knives in for this game, you guys say it isn't too bad and I believe you.

Because it looks worse than the original MOH even though the engine is better. Also it's being compared to COD because that's it's role, to compete against COD.

Trouble is the latest COD has been around for a while now and has had time to mature whereas this is a new game and will no doubt be buggy for a few weeks/months until things are patched.
 
I'm starting to really like this game and finding it hard to put it down, DON'T go by reviews.

Set the fov to 90 too as makes the game much better.
 
make your self a config file and place it in the folder.

It uses the FB2 engine, so same commands work from battlefield.
 
Only played the SP so far, graphics I'll admit are not as good as I'd had hoped, but I'm getting a solid 60 FPS @ 2560x1600 with the settings on Ultra. Enjoying it so far, but then I did enjoy the last one so that's not surprising.

Gameplay is decent, the pre-rendered cut scenes do look excellent. One thing I don't like is that it often takes away control without warning when you transition to a cut scene, often it is completely unnecessary.

Why? It has been done to death. Airbourne was not very good at all.

Maybe you didn't play CS in the beta stages but it was truly amazing back then.
 
Modern FPS been done to death as well I wish they went for something different like Vietnam or game base in the future. All these new FPS are the same old liner game play with lacklustre story: shoot terrorist, american **** yeah!,easy and brainless shooters.

What happened to the good old days of games they just seem dumbed down these day.

Suggest you download Tribes Ascend. It's free, set in the future, very fast paced and has some interesting dynamics. Not without it's problems but it has a huge learning curve, so may satisfy your desire for a skill based game.
