Best online store for pre-order

I have used Game and had no problems at all.

Ordered around 15 games in the last year, evryone of them has arrived on release day. Only a couple have arrived before release day.

Would also recommend shopto also.

i just noticed although people have mentioned the shopto price rise, but they have failed to mention the cashback on everygame.... before when we had cheaper prices they had no cashback. it sort of evens out to what we were getting

You mean their reward scheme in its current iteration?

If so, I'm currently a Silver member and they debited my account for Assassins Creed 3 just yesterday. It's being sold at £39.85, but I get £1.49 'cashback', thus technically making it £38.36. I wouldn't really call that much of a difference in price.

I'd rather they just gave the best price, instead of accumulating 'reward' money. Like I said though, now they have become big and get pre-order bonuses, they no longer need to be really competitive with their prices like when they were a small retailer.

ShopTo , more expensive and have 1 issue but that was due to the website crashing at payment stage. So rang them and they sent it 1st class recorded day after release.

It's still cheaper than a lot of places, in fact on price runner it's 3rd place behind simply games and asda. Yes I do agree they aren't what they used to be in terms of prices but they are still competitive in the market

Grainger Games apparently - £48.99

I think my point is more that ShopTo is pretty much inline with the big retailers like Amazon/Play/HMV/GAME, as highlighted above, its a couple of pence cheaper for that edition. Where as in the past, they offered a much bigger chunk off.

Yes in the past they did offer more money off but looking at today's market it's few and far between and shopto do still compete with the better side of the market. Ok the question is who is the best for pre order? Who do u choose nexus?

Still with ShopTo.

If anything, its because I created a big pre-order list with them ages ago, so I quite often get games sent without even remembering that I pre-ordered them, such as with Resident Evil 6 recently.

I was going to have a look around to see who had the best price for Assassins Creed 3, but they debited my ShopTo account far earlier than I expected. Infact it looks like the game shipped today, so will be interesting if it comes Monday, as that is actually even earlier than they usually would be for a preorder.

Another shout here for shop to, always had a game a day before release. Touch wood I've never had any trouble with them.

Also pre ordered with Game and Amazon and have had them on the day of release but with Amazon I paid for the postage to make sure.
