When would you have 'Dinner'

I graze all day lately so I just call it eating! Breakfast, Lunch, dinner, tea, supper, who cares? just get it down yer!
I care! If I was invited for dinner, I would expect a nice hot meal. Lunch I would expect sandwiches or something not too heavy. If I was invited for tea then I'd expect a cup of tea and maybe some biscuits or cake.

You have dinner ladies and dinner money. They are for the meal in the middle of the day. Therefore that must be dinner time.

Tea time is the meal at the end of the day.

*southerner that runs*

I would expect.

Breakfast : Meat
Lunch: Meat
Tea: Meat with a cup o' tea
Dinner : Meat with wine
Supper : Meat
Mid-night snack : Meat.

For me, dinner is in the evening. It does refer to the main meal of the day though so i guess both are right.

and funnily enough I'm pretty sure the word itself comes from the word for breakfast. Just to add that to the mix :D

Why don't cyclists pay road tax or have road insurance, huh?

Why does Scotland have all those free giveaways to those beer-swilling ignorants when we, the English tax paying public, have to support them?

Guys, my girlfriend left me. What do I do?

I cut my graphics card in half to fit my small form factor case. Does that make it half as powerful? Should I upgrade or buy more sellotape?

Why do northerners and poor people (I appreciate that is one in the same in the current economic climate :P) eat their evening meal (whatever they may call it) so early?

We can only afford one meal a day, so if we peel the spuds in the morning, they're right for dinner time and that one meal splits the day in half nicely for the next meal 24 hours later.

I'd say Dinner time is around 5-6. Never understood people who have Dinner at 3-4 =/
Seems way too early seeing as IMO it's the last meal of the day and has to last till about 10-11 when you go to bed.
