Hexus 65W TDP A10-5700 review

The Problem is I/we still can't find any FM2 A75/A85 Chipset M-ATX/ITX Motherboard. Been waiting so long for this APU and still cant get me hands on it.

There seems to be some with 2 or 3 PCIE slots but am not sure why motherboard makers would do that

also I've seen a lot of the a55 boards don't have a hdmi output either, msi does though !!
Seriously sort it out amd !! You failed to sell Llano don't make the same mistake again !
I need an m-itx to replace my e350.

Yeah the decent size boards are mostly A55 chips without USB 3.0 or SATA III support or like you said etc.

That is a very sexy little board! What would be the fastest GPU that would crossfire effectively with the onchip graphics of the APU? Would love to see some benches to see if it could game effectively at 1080p with a decent discreet GPU :) Could make an awesome console killer for around 400 squid!

Yeah thats a good board

MSI have 2 that are pretty good but none still available including 1 from gigabyte. Am hoping these are available soon as i have some builds to do for families and friends inc myself

Xfire on the APU is hit and miss depending on Games/support at the moment - pretty damn good when it works and its improving all the time, still i would prefer to take a HD78xx for some grunt and IGP for less intensive stuff

That was available at launch and still is in quite a lot of places.

Last week I found and bought 3 Asus F2A85 M-PRO's and 5 ASRock FM2A75M-ITX boards (for outstanding builds I have to do that people are pressuring me for), all in the UK and certainly not grey imports, they are about in limited quantities.
So can't be long before Ocuk get them now, unless their purchasing department just isn't chasing these up hard enough.

The extra slots btw are for raid cards, tv cards, wireless network etc.
Dual/triple tuners are not uncommon in HTPC land ;)

do the amd drivers switch automagically on desktop vs game like on laptops? or is there an easy function key or app that you can install to swap between dedicated and apu ?

the later would allow for a beasty 7 series to zero core at low idle on desktop and use the apu for desktop video duties
