:)
Any comment or suggestions is more than welcome !

*didnt see that this mobo is a small factor one, i will go for that one instead :
-Gigabyte Z77-D3H Intel Z77 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard

Not bad huh:)

Cheaper (depending on postage cost to where you live)
Technically better.
Looks better.

Another small point is that the retail CPU has a longer 3 year warranty, retail box and includes the standard intel heatsink (useful should you wish to sell the CPU later?)

In that case you are overspending on the PSU. A 550W PSU would be more than enough as the D3H mobo doesnt do SLI/Xfire

YOUR BASKET
1 x HIS HD 7950 IceQ 3072MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card (H795Q3G2M) with FREE FARCRY3, Hitman Absolution, Sleeping Dogs & 20% off MOH Warfighter PC Games £227.99
1 x Intel Core i5-3570K 3.40GHz (Ivybridge) Socket LGA1155 Processor (77W) - Retail £167.99
1 x Samsung 256GB SSD 830 Notebook/Apple Series SATA 6Gb/s KIT with Norton Ghost - (MZ-7PC256N/EU) £143.99
1 x Gigabyte Z77-D3H Intel Z77 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard £79.99
1 x Antec P280 Super Midi Tower Case - Gun Metal Black £64.99
1 x Corsair Enthusiast Series TX550M High Performance 550W '80 Plus Bronze' Modular Power Supply (CP-9020001-UK) £59.99
1 x Thermalright HR-02 Macho CPU Cooler (Socket LGA775/LGA1156/LGA1155/LGA1366) £29.18
1 x Kingston HyperX Genesis Grey 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit (KHX1600C9D3X2K2/8GX) £25.99
1 x Samsung SH-S222BB/BEBE 22x DVD±RW SATA ReWriter (Black) - OEM £13.99
Total : £830.60 (includes shipping : £13.75).

Note my samsung SSD is the same as stulids but it's cheaper getting the notebook version, they are the same SSD

Doesn't support SLI+Crossfire at 8X/8X, the Z77X-D3H I put in my spec does.

thanks Stulid,
I like your suggestions... and have taken them into account, but regarding the DDR, is it not better to get a 2000mghz kit instead of a 1600 ?

Not for £30 and in a case without a side window it doesn't.

What does a window have to do with the cooler?

I used the HIS 7950 too as it was cheaper, the Frozr Cooler is known for being pretty quiet, I'm not sure what the HIS cooler is like noise wise. However I did use the Antec case with sound proofing so that shouldnt really be an issue.

I have done a review of 2400Mhz RAM on a Gigabyte Z77 board.

I tried at 1600Mhz, 2133Mhz and 2400Mhz.

In the real world it makes little difference, only in benchmarks can you see a small difference.

If you want faster RAM, then go for it as it wont make it worse.

For £30 its not worth the difference and you know it, go look at reviews of the HIS 7950 turbo/boost edition (same cooler) its fine.

The MSI GPU does have a 3 year warranty aswell vs the 2 years on the HIS, so it was worthwhile you bringing it to his attention. I've tried to help the OP trim a few quid off, I'm being ignored anyway so I'll leave you guys to it

I'll stick to the 850W PSU to have some room if I want to add another GPU in the future. for the DDR, if both of you think the corsair kit is not worth it I'll take the HyperX one. Thanks for the SSD Hono, great tip !
What do you think now ?

oh ok, excellent that helps :)
no HDD is needed as i will re-use the one I have in the old rig ...
Thanks for all the help and the money saving to both !

That's nice, much better but use the retail CPU as stulid and I have. You could get an OEM 24 speed optical drive for that price. It doesn't come with burning software but imgburn is an excellent free burning suite

I have THIS one. Providing it's still the B revision it can be crossflashed with the iHAS 524 firmware to unlock the extra features. The xbox modders have also made a custom firmware for it to allow you to overburn DVDs i.e fit more data on a disk

You are welcome by the way.
