Let's be clear here - if implemented it would almost certainly bring about a two tier system forcing many off the motorways and major A roads and creating so much more congestion. And the excuse for this is it's aimed at recouping the cost to the government caused by the average motorist by buying himself/herself a "greener" car thereby saving money on both fuel and tax.
I also note that they claim:
So, what do you guys think of this OcUK motors? Personally I've been of the opinion the the British Government is so out of touch with reality that they seem to be doing their best to financially force the average working motorist off the road while screwing them for as much money as possible along the way!
Or, is this just another "sensationalist headline" created by the media in order to draw attention?

The government has made clear it will not implement tolls on existing road capacity and has no plans to replace existing motoring taxes with pay-as-you-go road charging.
So, what do you guys think of this OcUK motors?
