Stulid, I'm actually getting errors in p95, and got a bsod, whilst at full load now...yet with my antec fans I didn't have that...I'm so confused right now.
I'm going to have to check if everything is ok....all over again. Surely fan replacement wouldn't have done this....

Then the OC is unstable? changing fans shouldn't cause that, the performance difference between the SP120 Quiet and the stock ones is very small.

I had my oc p95, 20hr tested beforehand, a week ago.
Can't be possible...Surely...I've been stable for a week, gaming on bf3 too...
As for your fans, do you have the step down reducer on them, connected to the antec?

Finally, the difference between the silent and stock - I presume you mean antec fans vs sp120 quiet?

Hey Stulid,

Regarding the Sp120's - How have you made them run at a lower RPM on the antec?
As for me, they constantly run at 1500RPM.
Do I need to add the step-down reducer in order for it to be able to fluctuate?

Oh and the problem I had before for the stability/BSOD -> seems to be faulty ram related or IMC (god forbid)
 
As they are three pin rather than the Antecs four pin PWM, you need the reducer fitted, you still wont get the variable speed control.

But I don't understand why you want to fit it, they aren't loud at all.

Well I believe on idle, there's no need for them to run at 1500rpm. They are kind of quiet, but not as quiet as the antecs on 600rpm, with no load on them.

That's the only reason really.

Actually about the antec: (sorry for being a little off topic)
Does the light go off after a while, whilst the pc is off? As I've noted it stays on all the time, even when off (I've only recently chose to put the light on )

Mine stays on all the time.
 
I'm going to be fitting five of the AF140 fans into my Arc Midi case tomorrow hopefully this will improve my airflow a tad as my gpu's are getting a bit warm... Nice review.
 
Hi all

juse a quick question

are these AF140 fans better than the fractal 140mm fans in the xl case ? are they quieter than the fractals or on the same level.

Also do they move more air than the fractals 140mm fans by much ?
