If you play a crossing game, you can't go wrong with Gomez up front. Heading machine.

cheers

also anyone know off the top of their heads any kits which are just plain old skool style

ive seen a red one which is home but need an away which is not white or the rangers blue lol

sure there was a yellow one in 12

This is my "main" team. Such good fun to play with.

Subs:
Marchetti, Barzagli, Giovinco, Palacio, Hamsik, Marchisio, IF Klose

Reserves:
Bocchetti, Lulic, Zanetti, Boateng, IF Quagliarella

I tend to swap around CAM between Cassano, Boateng and Hamsik. I really like them all can only play one at a time though :p The only player I'm still not sure on is IF Klose. He just never seems to do anything for me so I might sell him off and try Pato or Di Natale.

I've not seen any Custom Tactics posted on here either so here is my main one I use. I do have 2 others one slightly more aggressive and slightly more mixed passing. The other long balls and lots of crossing:

Build up
speed - 100
passing - 40
free form

Chance Creation
passing - 66
crossing - 1
shooting - 30
free form

Defense
pressure - 1
aggression - 50
team width - 35
cover

PS: soz for the long post :p

Try Liga do Brasil, Saudi League for plain kits - theres ls another couple of leagues but cant remember whom, try the lower leagues (Pro League?)

ps3ud0

Custom tactics make a HUGE difference in how your team plays. Its how the AI decides to position your players for likely passes runs etc. This might be a bit long but here you go:

First one as posted before is the main one I use (please note the change to shooting I typed it in wrong before its at 30 not 100). Build up is fast paced so players move up field rather quickly, which I find useful to pass the ball around and open up more space. Shooting is based lower so ST's will wait take a bit more time getting into a good position before being in a "decent" shooting position. But the downside to this is obviously gives the opponent more time to get their defense back which naturally makes it harder.

My "aggressive" CT is:
Build up
speed - 100
passing - 40
free form

Chance Creation
passing - 66
crossing - 1
shooting - 100
free form

Defense
pressure - 1
aggression - 100
team width - 31
cover

Slightly more narrow defense but keeps my players tucked in so I'm a bit exposed on the wings. I find this useful if you are playing against people who keep trying lobbed through balls down the middle of the pitch. Aggression being so high though really makes your players run around a lot so they run out of stamina quicker. AI will also dive into tackles a lot more, which can be dangerous. I've given away penalties while using this CT. I guess this would be my more counter attack build. I use this generally towards the end of a game if I am down a goal and want to really press on the attack. Sometimes I use it right off the bat and try get a couple of goals in then swap back to the more relaxed style.

My last CT is the long balls/crossing:

Build up
speed - 42
passing - 86
free form

Chance Creation
passing - 37
crossing - 89
shooting - 90
free form

Defense
pressure - 42
aggression - 50
team width - 68
cover

This one makes my players spread wider and my LM/RM tend to run down the wings more often to get in position to receive a pass and get them crosses in. It also helps defense (especially using 352) if the opponent is trying to exploit my wings as my team will generally be more spread. I tend to swap to this basically if that happens. If someone keeps running to the wings I swap to this which helps a great deal. Plus I push a bit further up field so if I can get the ball quicker I can pass quickly down the wings and my LM/RM will already be gunning down the wing ready to cross it in.

Hopefully that explains it well enough :) give them a try out if you want. The way I tested these was to play one half using one CT then the second half using another CT. You can really tell the difference on how your players position themselves and pass etc.

edit: one last thing i forgot to mention. I tend to play "balanced" most of the time. If I use my aggressive CT at the start of a game tho I swap to "attacking". But I tend to gauge how well my opponent is playing if I feel I'm too exposed at the back then I knock it back down to balanced might change CT. I very VERY rarely go to defensive now. Maybe if its a cup final in say the last 10mins of a game or so tho :p

oh and all of this is based using a 352 form. I have not tried this custom tactics with other formations.

Nice team Adsta - very similar to mine - cavanni and pato up front with cassano in CAM.

Nice and interesting write up on Custom tactics as well - cheers for that.

I find 352 balanced and default tactics just fine personally

My Serie A team is quite similar to you guys as well except I have Pirlo CAM, Balo and Di Natale up front. Balotelli is insanely good!

Walcott scored in the 45th, 90th and 120th minute tonight in the league cup. Talk about scripting. :D

It's obviously rubbish. Must keep reminding myself that I suck and it's all my fault. For example in addition to the tackle button, I must be inadvertently also pressing the 'after you successfully tackle, fall over and don't get up for a little while, long enough for the opponent to steal the ball from your stricken body and run and score' button.
