*** The Official FIFA 13 Thread ***

I increasingly find myself getting rage at seeing pace abuse, glitches and scripted comebacks in real football.

Wanted to play tonight but felt crappy and was still working, so ended up doing a few tweaks to an existing team and making a couple of new ones:

It's obviously rubbish. Must keep reminding myself that I suck and it's all my fault. For example in addition to the tackle button, I must be inadvertently also pressing the 'after you successfully tackle, fall over and don't get up for a little while, long enough for the opponent to steal the ball from your stricken body and run and score' button.

You are forgetting, I kid you not, your defender tackling the opposition striker and then TWO defenders falling over you defender not once but repeatly like a benny hill sketch while Falcao, while struggling nit to laugh skips OVER all three and slots it by a bemused Artur Moraes who does nit even dive like he's waiting for Jeremy Beadle to appear
I must admit I did laught myself as all three defenders looked like they were having an orgy
God bless FIFA

Yea you can use the custom tactics in UT. Easiest way to configure them to your team is to go to an offline match so you can set them up save them then add them to your d pad. Personally I've found my game has improved a lot after setting up my CTs and using them with a bit of tactical thought.

Hope it helps :)

I played a few games yesterday and every goal I conceded was from something I couldn't control. Mostly me tackling them and the ball rolling to there attacker, but it's my fault cause I'm crap at the game :D

Anyway getting rid of my team now. I feel the gameplay(even when I'm winning) isn't fun. I'll stick to playing clubs. Makes me slightly less angry :p

I lost a injury time winner last night because Welliton just ran past the ball rather than stop the thing from going in, oh well! Had some good games last night but i still enjoy :D

Is FUT web app down for anyone else?

You can control that by containing/standing off rather than tackling.

Sounds like you should never ever lose a game or goal though going by your posts :p

I do contain. I hold rb for a player to help me but he just stands as the ball rolls by. Standing off doesn't always help as they can pass it round or get by at times. I don't mind it happening sometimes but I concede loads of goals by the ball dropping to them yet at the other end when I get tackled it mostly drops to them.

I might try the ct and see if I find anything different.

I should never ever lose a goal with the way it happens :p I just feel hard done by when I dominate to lose to a poxy goal in nearly every game(I wish every game was an exaggeration :() I'm even tempted to try pro evo out but ill miss clubs too much. I like the banter and hearing my friends also complain about how we're getting screwed over :D

I've just had a game on World Class where I was leading 1-0 going into the last few minutes (with the AI getting their customary "Usain Bolt" boost) and the ball was stolen from my pudding-footed defender and they proceeded to hit the bar twice and the post once before an unmarked Ribery managed to head over from right under the crossbar!?!?!?

This is the sort of carp that usually happens to me but I have to admit it's pretty funny when it goes for you! :D

My house mate spent around £7 on packs last night, he got an IF card which sold for around 22k and then he got Aguero in another pack. Jammy ****! Best I have had is Akinfeev :/

whats annoying me a lot this year is the fact that finesse shots are poor unless you have the right player but you need those finnesse to curl the ball round the keeper when he runs out.

and im finding that people seem to be bringing outthere keeper a hell of a lot this year and also there seems to be about 10 goal mouth scrambles a game which i never seem to be able to poke the ball in :(

Part and parcel of the game! Had a good goal mouth scramble yesterday where the keeper made 3 point blank saves in a row

Finally got some luck in the end but not in the form of packs :D

Just before the maintenance kicked in i put in a bid for 150 coins for Lucas who had 50 minutes left in his auction. Since the maintenance disabled anyone from logging in i managed to sign Lucas for 150 coins along with some other bargains like Felaini at 5000 :D

Most players can't actually bend the ball around the keeper in reality, so this year's FIFA is probably more accurate. Scored a wonder finesse with Ronaldinho last night, actually jumped out my seat and cheered when it went in!

Any chance you could list them?
