Hi all,

I am being pressured into choosing a tablet (as a present)
I am limited to around £200.

The tablet will be used primarily for magazine reading.
Light internet browsing via firfox so i can get to my bookmarks.

How is browsing a magazine on a 7 inch tablet? on my laptop it trys to display two pages on the one screen and its faffy consequently. Would a tablet in portrait mode just one page?

I am going to look at 32gb Nexus 7 and Motorola xoom 2 media edition (8.2 inch) today.

Kindle fire I had considered but i prefer updates tinkering and firefox!

Any thoughts would be helpful!

Thanks,

Davey

Nexus 7 is without peers at this pricepoint. Though if you can muster £319, the N10's screen will be GODLY.

I know it looks awesome I was hanging on to see the ipad mini price (crazy) and the nexus 10 price.
However the ten is out of limit sadly!

I had a looked at a 7 initially but read you could not rotate it (i think ti was the 7) but an update has fixed that. I was then put off as no hdmi and low storage.

However now the 32gb is out (win) and as long as my new phone has hdmi out its all good!

Looking like the 7 is winning!
