Sorry for mentioning physx guys, forgot some people might be on their man period. Geez......
PhysX is important to some people and some would want it I guess. It was a valid point.
and those games are?I don't tend to play loads of games, just a select few that I stick with. The ones I'm playing ATM and will be for some time use physx quite abit so a 670 was a good choice for me. I didn't want to compromise physx for maybe an extra 10-15fps by getting a 7970. You can always xfire/sli for more FPS but if your AMD And you fancy physx your stuffed.
I know you can run hybrid by using a nvidia card as a physx card but after the hassle of buying another card, increased power usage and temps its not worth it. Plus these hacks for hybrid Physx aren't guaranteed not to be patched up eventually.
Planet side 2, borderlands 2 mainly. Plus a lot of games use the unreal 3 engine which uses physx.
facepalm
After a bit of research there also seems to be an issue with Trifire/Crossfire on 3 screens when using an Asus Rampage 4 Extreme board...
7970s are overpriced.
Any chance of a link please?![]()
Not sure if I'm allowed to link to other forums?
would you you mind sending thru trust?
as I'm tempted to give to give crossfire a whirl
unless its the post on the ROG forum
Yeah £60 - £100 cheaper than GTX 680's but with better performance since Cat 12.11.. Especially at 1440P and above and multiscreen.. If anything GTX 680's are overpriced.
NO HOTLINKING!
