What is Vampire: The Masquerade all about anyway, people tell me it has really good RPG elements but I don't see it.

Other than that, it's based on a long running series with a relatively large cult following, gets regular non-official patches and mods.
Buy Fear 1 - now!
The second and third are average, but the first one is excellent. Great storyline.

I would rank the games in this order.
Fear 1
Dead Space 1
Dead Space 2
Fear 2/ Fear 3
Probably worth grabbing them all at these prices.

thats what i was thinking, definitly picking up dead space 1+2, amnesia, fear1, possibly 2 and 3
is bioshock worth it at this price?
Damn the more trailers i watch the more i cant decide!
Bioshock goes on regular sales, and personally I never found the game(s) that great. I am sure many will disagree.
if its a regular ill leave bioshock for now then

Yeah I disagree I found Bioshock to be one of the better games we have. But each to there own.

At the time the water was amazing, too. I felt it had amazing atmosphere in the start, with a real sense of mystery. A bit like those old Hitchcock movies. Though once I actually started to play the game and do the tasks I completely lost interest. It felt like a bit of a betrayal after the opening premise, probably why I never went back. I still haven't even tried the second

Great choice imo, Fear 2-3 are pretty pants. Dead Space series are great, can't remember which one but one of them you have to disable ingame v-sync or it will run like crap. I think it was the first, also if you get Dead Space 2 it will also register on Origin. Use the Origin version as the Steam version has all the unlocks available at the start making the game easy and boring.
Probably the first time a review has swayed me, because they are usually trash. Although I think the general public consensus about the game was what done it, buying it now!

I'm sure you'll enjoy it. I still haven't had a chance to install it, yet.
Stalker has more atmosphere, no doubt. Metro 2033 is also a great game, but more linear. It's a hard choice as both are great games overall.
