Do Plenty of People Still Play L4D1?

I got the hankering to play this game again, I have L4D2 on my account also but I much prefer L4D1 personally. Better gameplay imo.

Just wondering how active is L4D1 now? Has everyone moved to L4D2? Is it still as active as ever, or just a few diehards still playing?

I have both, (I can't believe how dated the graphics look!)

I only really play L4D2 these days.

i've played 51 hrs L4D1 and 49 hrs L4D2

I play L4D1 occasionally too. This could be because it runs soooooo much better on my old machine than L4D2 although I think the ambiance is better also.

Obsolete now L4D2 has all of L4D1 content in an update.

No true.

L4D1 felt a better game IMO but personal preference.

It is not just the maps, the game plays differently.
