It is, pretty much. Doesn't have access to the x-com license, not associated with any of the original developers or publishers. It's still quite a good game though for someone looking for a similar-to-the-original-x-com experience.

Im interested in this too. Can only find it on g2play and you have to run through a russian VPN to play multi. Not for me.

Yup, got it on Xbox (don't shout ) and loving it, really good fun. Going through on Normal to start, to get used to it, then I'll be attempting a Classic Ironman run I think.

on hardest setting with iron man on I managed just over an hour.
Got utterly destroyed and ran outta soldiers lol

You'd probably be better off playing Prince Of Persia - Forgotten Sands, at least that was my conclusion after attempting to play the old Tomb Raiders again.
