Games you Bought and played Once

I have never played 88 of the 170 games currently in my Steam library.

Of the other 82 games in my library, 35 of them have <=1 hour game time.

Crysis
Crysis Warhead
Arma 2
Arma 2: Arrowhead
Borderlands
Far Cry 2
Homefront
Just Cause 2
Wings of Prey

Infact most games i play i'll give a couple of hours and then never return, really is a waste of money.

Only a few games have seen 40-50hrs and most of them are because they have a good online.

Not sure if it's the games or me not into gaming as much as i thought but even still i keep spending.

Yeah same here , i still get that excited pre game state and keep on spending too?

Just few that jump out straight away that were a complete waste of time and money.

Not in any order.

Duke nukem forever
Kane & Lynch 2
Return to Castle Wolfenstein
Ghost Recon Future Soldier
COD MW2
Men of War Vietnam
Stronghold 3
Operation Flashpoint Dragon Rising
Dragon age 2
Crysis 2
Far Cry 2

ToCA Race Driver 3 is one that sticks out on my steam list in particular. Had great memories of the first two on playstation 1, this one just dissapointed me :(

Crysis Warhead.

The story took too long to progress to anything that resembled something interesting. Graphics were amazing at the time but it wasn't enough to keep me playing!

I realize this was posted over a year ago and the user is banned, but how the hell can somebody, especially in 2011 consider Crysis Warhead 'amazing at the time'. I'd love for somebody to tell me something that looks better in general, let alone for 'it's time'.

SPAZ
Supreme Ruler 2020

Those two come to mind as games I was quite looking forward to, but found completely uninspiring after a single short blast.

aaAaAA!!
Audiosurf
Chime
Frozen Synapse
Gish
King Arthur
Osmos
Penumbra
Red Faction: Guerilla
Trauma
Spacechem
Uplink

Going through my Steam library, I think I only gave all of the above one quite short go as well. Mostly cheap indie games I picked up in the various sales. Did have highish hopes for King Arthur and RF:G, but neither interested me at all once I started them.

Warhammer: Online
WoW
Red Alert 3
Bulletstorm - completed in one sitting
Shogun Total War 2
RAGE
Universe Sandbox
Tomb Raider Underworld - completed in one sitting
Kingpin
Battlestations Midway

Killing Floor (62 minutes)
Amnesia (40 minutes)
AC: Brotherhood (never been played)
Audiosurf (never)
Bastion (never)
Batman: Arkham City (74 minutes)
Battlefield BC 2 (46 minutes)
Bit.Trip Runner (never)
Bob Came in Pieces (10 mins)
CS:Source (19 minutes)
Dead Rising 2 (51 minutes)
Dear Esther (never)
Edge (never)
Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet (never)
Mass Effect (53 minutes - played through the other two just don't like layout on the first one)
The Misadventures of PB Winterbottom (9 mins)
Psychonauts (never)
Train Simulator 2013 (38 minutes)
Trine (never)
Trine 2 (never)
Zombie Driver (50 minutes)

Meh.

Seriously though expanding on my first comment about 170 out of my 200 games I have on steam.... And out of that 170 I'd say maybe 70-100 games I've never played?

Crysis 2 (warhead and 1 were amazing)
Red alert 3..Big bag of balls, Red alert 2 was awesome

Those hours were probably sucked up by civ 4

Last one was Chivalry. Really don't see the appeal of that garbage.

FIFA 13 has barely been touched knew I shouldn't have bothered since I was already bored of 12. Note sure what I expected to be different.

Dishonoured was played once for a couple of hours and uninstalled last week too.
