Not directly employed

What also annoys me is the attitude that the staff have with us. The secretaries and this other homosexual from accounts always ask the internal staff if they want a coffee but never ask us. I just think that is very rude, I asked them why they don't ask us if we want a coffee as we are just in the next office, they said because we work for X company. I don't realy see how that should make any difference.

Do you make them coffee?

I don't drink the coffee here anyway. But it would be nice if they offered.

So you have never i n3 years offered to make them anything yet bitch they they don't offer you anything?

you make no attempt to mix then of course they'll see you as an outsider.

But since you're not a contractor but a permanent employee, all the stuff you're talking about should come from your company not the customer you're dealing with.

No i don't make anyone coffee. But neither does other people who do get offered.

We do get invited to the xmas party though and sometimes they invite us to the pub after work. So gym membership is not very unrealistic. I do know them all quite well and i am practically a staff member i just get paid from a different company.

Precisely.

Groen's threads are always fun. Is the guy in Accounts hot? Do you have a secret gay crush on him? Are you annoyed he will only bum permies?

This thread makes my head hurt.

Essentially, groen is whining that someone who works for a different company is receiving better benefits than him, which he feels is unfair, and would really just like the gay chap to make him a coffee. Am I right?

On what planet  How does that remotely follow from the previous sentence? You fail at logic and common sense. But this is something we all know anyway. You wont understand it, but just accept you are wrong.

So... he doesn't actually work for the company that provides it's employee's with all these benefits and he's moaning that they don't give him these benefits and that they don't offer to make him drinks?

And he wouldn't drink it even if they have made it for him so it would be a waste of time and resources.

One of my colleague don't drink coffee, we work for the same company, i don't offer them coffee, I did the first time but after that i never asked again. It's not rude, it's a waste of my breath when i know the answer.

So... you're not employed by them.

So, you're moaning that people that this company employs get nicer perks then you do and they don't make you drinks?

Also; what the hell has someone's sexuality got to do with their ability to make you coffee?

Groen, as a contractor I NET double what I used to GROSS as a permy.
That makes up for the lack of the benefits.

Unless you are just a permy for a sub contracting company?

Ah well, groen - then stop moaning about it, go self employed and take the risk - simples.

You'll soon find out whether you are crap or not. and be contempt with what you have.
