I'm heading up to Liverpool for a stag do this weekend, I was just wondering if anyone had any recommendations of places to go?

I've heard The Krazy House is meant to be decent.

Also are shoes necessary or can you get away with smart trainers in most places?

Requesting thread title change to 'Liverpool - are shoes necessary?'

Last time I went to Liverpool I had a van of Sainsbury wine stolen and almost had sex with a woman who later stole a van of Sainsbury wine.

Most things are in or around concert square, Krazy House is on wood street which runs up to concert square but the music may not be to everyone's taste, definitely an alternate venue. There's Bar Ca'Va (Flavoured Tequilla, they even do baked bean) and PopWorld and a few pubs on wood street too, Django's Riff is pretty cool down there. Concert Square has a few clubs and shiz, playing your standard mainstream music, there's Seel Street as well where you have the Peacock and Heebie Jeebies, which are more pub/club than straight up club. There's Hardman street which is further up from concert square where you have Bumper and Hannah's bar, Magnet, the Flute (Great place to start depending on time) and a few other places. Matthew Street as well which is sort of on the other side of the city centre (only like a 5 minute walk though) which has the Cavern etc.

On the shoes, not really, as long as they're not actual trainers, you can get away with quite a bit. I've gone out in a pair of pump type shoes, although the weather for this weekend looks wet, so be warned.

If you want more specifics let me know xD

When I was there just over a year ago I had no idea where to go out, but then I saw one of those people holding a sign declaring 50p vodka drinks. That was a big mistake, lol! When we arrived there we found out that you could also get pitchers for 5 quid and they had 12 shots of whatever you wanted in them! Let's just say the next day wasn't the best of my life
Anyway...I can't remember the name of the place, but if you want cheap drinks, just follow one of the arrow people :D
