Are you happy being a child of the 20th century, do you wish you were born in a earlier age?

How far back? Medieval? Roman?

Or do you wish you were born in the distant future? Perhaps a age with hoverboards and computers that can make any food you want ("Computer...Muffins")

Do you like the 21st century? Do you feel we are pretty advanced? Or would you like to live in simpler times? But perhaps not too far back so that dentistry would be incredibly painful but perhaps no tv or cars.

Discuss!

I'd love to back in time as a visitor, but I don't think any of us would really want to live in the past. It was all much harsher and more frightening than we think today.

Personally, I'd like to live a couple of hundred years in the future. Fembots!

I'd like to say "a few hundred years in the future", as technology will have further enriched our lives.

Of course, you have to balance this against the likelihood of (say) the earth being reduced to a super-dense ball of self-replicating nanobots. Or some other man-made technological catastrophy.

I think i was born too early, i'd like to be born 300-400 years later then today
I'd like to live in a time where people know the difference between "then" and "than".

Sarcastic comments aside, I would also like to have been born a few centuries later. Given where we are now with regards to technology, I figure we'll probably have the ability to grow new organs from stem cells and other such advances. I would like to live in a time where such things are commonplace, and people live for centuries rather than decades.

i'd take the age where they finally cure ageing. more bang for the buck.

A dangerous proposition.

If you think the planet is overcrowded now, imagine the state we'd be in if we weren't dying... At the very least we would need to radically adjust the way we live (no more reproduction for one).
