What architecture won in your eyes?

I think you're mistaking me for having a vast knowledge about micro processors, I don't... so I wouldn't be able to offer any intelligent debate on it![]()
I was born in 1978 and to be honest, I couldn't really get away with being born much earlier than that. That's because I have to wear hearing aids and they haven't been around for long at that point. Back then they were 2 boxes that you had to wear on your chest, one for each aid, both a little bit larger than a pack of cards. Then there were the operations like removal of my right eye and tonnes of laser surgery on the good eye, so again, I don't think that technology was around for long when I was born.
Why the soft spot for the BBC micro?
It's the computer that I was brought up with buddy. It was my main until 1998 (I know late) and I still got it and still works. I also have the Raspberry Pi.
At least one other OcUKer has got a Beeb in their sig as well.
Basically, which ever year this was based in. I want to be as cool as John Travolta.
AGE OF EMPIRES! Some sort of mad dream about leading a nation of Europe to what Hilter or Napoleon never managed...
In reality I like being my era, its cool, remember when there wasn't tech, remembered it sucked, appreciate the modern but in the right way.
If I have to pick id be 10 years older to enjoy the 90's a bit more, end of the 90's were good at 9/10 so at 19/20 I would have had so much fun. Would like to be my half sisters gen so 15 years older (I am 23 now) as that also was amazing for music I like (lots of the jesus and mary chain and spacemen 3 along with other stuff).
Not sure I could take being an older adult right now though, being my sort of age now is horrible (job wise) but great fun from the deeply inbeaded cynic that comes to town most the time, can get away with a lot of rubbish without anyone noticing at the moment which I am all for!
People do read your rubbish.
would have lived through the 70's,
