Ok I have NOT had a good time today. Just put my new case together today and everything went fine until I put my 2nd MSI 7950TFIII card( FIRST ONE WAS FAULTY TOO) in the case and then the fun began. GPU has crashed more times then I can think.

I just left the settings on default and the min I play a game it crashes. I ran heaven and it crashes after 3 seconds. This is my second MSI 7950TFIII that's faulty. THAT'S IT! I'm never buying another MSI card ever again. Me and my mate done it on 2 PC, and it's the same on both. Un-installed and re-installed drivers many times.

I just bought this card. I want a different card!!!

I'VE HAD IT!

Same fault?

Don't rage quit on MSI just yet, just RMA and get another one - third time lucky :)

The TF3 is a great cooler, and MSI is a great brand, give them another chance :)

You are not alone with GPU problems of late. Lots of problems from other users with AMD cards. Selling more than Nvidia I would guess is a big reason for this at a guess but maybe these new boost BIOSs leave a little to be questioned?

Sure its the cards and not your system? Id be checking system memory first

Oh and are the games on your ssd? Or mechanical hdd?

Rage quit is exactly how I feel right now. I would love to go to Nvidia, but can't afford too. 3rd time is not lucky.... sorry mate, but I've had it with msi. I'm gonna RMA again ,but this time I want a different card.

Yer I have no idea bud but you have to admit that there has been a number of faulty cards being reported of late?

Yes I agree, I wasn't arguing that just that its unlikely to be the bios at fault. Quality control certaolinly seems to have gone downhill.

I'd go for a refund and get a Giga windforce :)

Seems very strange that two 7950's are faulty, either your very very unlucky or its something else, memory related imo or I BIOS or driver bug with those cards

It could be the amount they are selling is showing more errors than you would normaly see? or as you say "QC" could be on a tea break too often.

Agreed

Is it possible somebody has DSRed the card previously and it has been put back into stock?

Something isn't right that's for sure.

All I know is I want this problem fixed. Either new card or I'll ask for my money back.

Me and my mate did a uninstall & reinstall of everything on 2 pc's and it's the same. Lets face it, this card is crap. My friend just said now.....That's what you get for going AMD. He'll never buy a AMD card ever again because this has happened to him 3 times I can see why:(

Sorry I should have read the whole thread(on my phone atm)

I'm only going off my experience but with two msi tf3 7850's,both have been flawless, can't beat amd for value for money imo, you've just been unusually unlucky, they are great cards so stick with them, its not like there's no warranty on them, its just time consuming having to return them
