MSN on my SGS2

Yes I still use the ancient MSN believe it or not

The problem is keeping everything signed in to MSN at the same time: phone, desktop and laptop. No problem with laptop and PC staying signed in at the same time and I always get the message "you are now signed in at more than once place".
But the issue is when the phone is involved.

If I'm signed in to MSN on my laptop, or PC, or both simultaneously, and then I sign into MSN on my phone from the phone's IM app, both the laptop and desktop PC get signed out automatically. Or if I'm signed in on my phone and then sign in on laptop or PC, I get signed out of the phone. Is there an option on the phone to keep me signed in all machines? On the full version of MSN on my laptop and PC, I've ticked the box that says "Show me all other the places I'm signed in at when I sign in". "You can sign in to Messenger from more than one place and receive messages everywhere you're signed in".

All there is when I click on IM on the phone is my MSN account, and in the edit option there's just the sign in boxes for my MSN address and password, 'remember password' and 'auto sign-in'.

There's a notification settings screen as well with 3 ticked boxes: 'Notify in status bar when IM arrives', 'Make sounds when IM arrives' and 'Vibrate when IM arrives'. Very basic form of MSN. Nothing about keeping me signed in on all devices from wherever I sign in. Perhaps I can install a full version of it for the SGS2?

The only app I have found that will do this is IM+

I found it too annoying and removed it from the s2.

Nice one Mattey, this was the solution and works brilliantly! Doesn't disconnect MSN from my laptop or PC and they don't disconnect it from my phone either. This is much nicer than the default IM app and even shows friend's user pics next to their names in the list of online contacts.

It took me ages to find one that would do exactly like you say, I have no idea why the MS/third party one doesn't allow this :/
