Your signature says 680`s SLI?

Yup was way too much power the gpu load never really exceeded 70%. Im in the process of selling them both for £700 and my new ati card was £350, which runs slightly better in the games i want to play. Also gives me some pennies to put a way for a rainy day :)

7970 Lightining? :D

Yup :D Its awesome bud, got it running great with an overclock and runs fantastic in the games i play, generally BF3 and Crysis2. Runs slightly hotter than my previous GTX 680, but then again its overclocked higher so that probably explains it.... The Lightning's also look amazing! :D

7990 has been canned (the AMD version).

Partners are releasing some versions but I'd be wary of anything that isn't based off an official Radeon card due to the potential for driver related issues.

I found a good deal on this card.

no. (generally)

amd won't make a 7990 as has been stated, but there are 2 confirmed (as of now) aib designs, including the already-released powercolor (the club3d one is the same, since they're the same company). the other is the his x2 7970, which is set to release... at some point

Well maybe they will relase the 8990 for maniacs :p

as others have pointed out amd have comfirm that they do not have any plans on releasing a 7990 card but they have given the ok to selected partners to create a 7970x2 card if they want to. now currently their is only the powercolor devil on the market at selected retailers, his are releasing their 7970x2 using their x2 cooling tech, it will be clocked at about 1ghz maybe little more and will still have room for overclocking, so even at it factory stock speed it will be faster than the powercolor devil which uses the amd ref stock speed.
