It's not that fast for 5ltr and 8 cylinders?
Fair enough it's pretty fat looking, but still. A Boxster S wouldn't be far behind it!
A Boxster S is lighter and doesn't have a torque convertor auto gearbox?

It is and it hasn't, and it's also got less displacement too.
Just on book figures doesn't seem as fast as I'd have imagined it to be.
Which company did you hire the Mustang? I'm off to Vegas on Thursday and have been weighing up whether to hire a car or not. Normally insurance has to be done separate which puts me off. Plus I've never drove abroad on the opp. side of the road & car. Any tips?
Edit:// About $167 to hire a Mustang convertible vs $204 for the Corvette via Hertz
Bucket list, drive a V8, ticked!
Lol
A 13 second 1/4 mile and 0-60 in 4.8 seconds seems pretty damn quick to me.
Love the fact that all of the go faster stuff is actually stuck on, and actually quite annoying (spoiler obscures rear view, side vents just make it less aerodynamic, and block out the rear quarter windows, and the bonnet bulge is fake!).
