As it says in the title, I want to upgrade my graphics card, here are my PC specs:
AMD Phenom x4 II 3.40GHz BE
GIGABYTE GA-78LMT-S2P
8GB GeIL Black Dragon RAM
Corsair 430W PSU

My budget is around £70.00, what's the best card I can upgrade to?

I LIKE TO STREAM GAMES, WILL THAT FACT CHANGE THE CARD I WANT TO BUY?

Nope, not enough to justify £70.
Is going second hand out of the question? You could net yourself quite a decent upgrade with £70.

HD6850
HD5850
GTX460

A little bit of searching all of those can be had for about £70 and under on a famous auction site.

Buying second hand is no worries, I'll look into it!

I totally recommend the gtx 460. my mate had one, beasty cards.
However, if you could stretch another £40, you can get a hd6950 2gb, which is far better. thats a fantastic card. I have one, selling mine actually due to upgrade but, they are awesome. play games at 1080p no problems.
(seen for 110 at a famous auction site)

Is your 5670 a gddr5 ?
1080p don't even think about the 640 can't believe its even being recommended!
2nd hand 460/6770/6850 as people have said is what you need to be looking at.

not sure if this is allowed as a price check, but I got my 4850 off a popular auction site for £25. This suggests that the 4770 is noticably bit better than the 5670, and the 4850 is a fair bit better than the 4770. Just a bit of perspective!

Good Grief.... don't go for the GTX 640 :) my washing machine runs faster across my kitchen floor

Haha humbug,

There's so much choice it's overwhelming...I don't know what to do :(

For £70 you will not find an upgrade 'new', the 7770 is a 10 / 15% upgrade so you could go for that @ £95, but if your looking for a real upgrade you need to spend £120 on a 1GB 7850, but even then you would be better off with the 2GB one @ £150.

Used, you should look for anything above and including a GTX 460 or AMD 6850.

The 5770 is one of those cards that sits right there where upgrading is not just pocket change.

Edit, wait, it's a 5670, not 5770, sorry.... if you can stretch to the 7770 its a nice upgrade :) there is also the 7750 for £84, but that not quite the leap from the 5670.

I think I'm going to get the HD 6850, checked around loads of GPU Benchmark sites and considering the cheaper price it's probably the best bang for my buck

...now im wondering if thats the best decision
