i have clockwork mod isntalled and i have been flashing roms for quite some time. I have never used rom manager though. The last two pages of the reivews seems to slate the app with quite a few bricking issues. What is the general opinion of the app now. Its seems to do things a lot faster. I flash using odin at the moment

Rom Manager is a pretty front end app specifically targeted at installing custom ROMs using CWM which is a separate recovery image. You don't need to use Rom Manager to use CWM.

Think of Rom Manager as like the CD your ISP sends you with programs that set up your router etc. Not needed.

A vote here for Team Win Recovery Project... IMO a better recovery than ClockworkMod... more options, proper touch friendly UI etc.

Yeah CWM is touch but really its getting a little dated. TWRP has got some nice features, big touch friendly buttons, incremental backups your able to rename backups etc.

Don't get me wrong CWM works but TWRP just takes it to the next level.
