Bought a roccat kone xtd for £77 next day delivery from this website

bought it on the 30/oct/2012,

it was shipped out the same day, everything looked good and this is where the issues started up....

2 days later my product still has not arrived in the post, phoned up and got through and explained the problem and they said they would contact royal mail to find out where the parcel was they said royal mail will update us and we will email you.
so waited all day for a email no email so phoned back up on friday finding out if there was any update from royal mail and no no updates as of yet from them, talk about speedy service to there customers, i asked cant you just recall it and send out another one they said they couldnt do that as then they would be out of pocket by £77 that actually took my breath away, its already for me to be out of pocket £77 but not them ? im the bloody customer here, they said ring back on monday and we should have a update, monday 5 november *today*
they said royal mail couldnt find it so they would send out another parcel today i asked them if they would send it out special delivery so its garanteed to get to me next day with full tracking and they said they would try ??? i mean seriously TRY ? they said then they would be out of pocket £9 for delivery charges ???????

I can not beleave these people how they actually have customers.

i told them to email me back today with chipping information and tracking number and
well there store shuts at 3:00pm and checked my email at 5:20pm and no emails from them what so ever.

i have never been so annoyed at a retail store before in all my life.

what should i do guys ? has anyone had any experiance with this shop
the only reason i used them was becuse they had the dam mouse in stock and ocuk didnt have stock yet

i have a roccat waiting here to be sent back for RMA refund but i cant send it untill this replacment arrives.

thank god ocuks rma`s are valid for 31 days lol

but hell this shop im dealing with is a complete nightmare.
 
Hi guys,

Payed via : Credit card.

think the best thing for me to do is demand a refund if they wont do it i will go to the bank and get a charge back.
but i think to much time has passed to get a chargeback its been 8 days.

If i can get a refund then i will order the mouse from OCUK wich i should have done in the first dam place... just my luck for being impatient :/

Doesn't sound like a con artist given the website has been registered for over 5 years. Just slow and incompetent.

Thats my guess aswell. i probably over reacted but still i think they should show there customers good customer service wich they dont.
 
Always use a credit card for your first order from a company you've never heard of/don't fully trust, then you can get your money back through the CC company if necessary.

Also, you need to look a bit harder to find the best price. OcUK have them in stock, and another store currently have 41 of them in stock, both cheaper than £77.

I'd just wait for the mouse to arrive and never order from them again.

At least you are getting responses from them, even if they are incompetent. Hopefully it arrives eventually :)

I've come across worse before.

Bought a bike from a shop back in August, endless problems with it, countless emails and phone calls nothing. In the end I contacted paypal who issued a full refund, the shop in question still haven't said a thing.

Free bike basically.

Also, you need to look a bit harder to find the best price. OcUK have them in stock, and another store currently have 41 of them in stock, both cheaper than £77.

There's not that much you can do really, unless you still don't have it after a month or so. At least you are getting responses from them, even if they are incompetent.

Trust me i will never ever order from this website again.... NEVER EVER EVER.
when i ordered on the 30th i did ring OCUK there stock was ment to arrive or it was on route, i just done a impulse buy from them as they had stock and next day shipping for free,
ocuks stock did not arrive untill 32nd i think. or 33rd at the latest.

Maybe they were all out of stock, but a bit of digging and phoning around and he probably would have found out that stock was due in a few days and so would have avoided the hassle of buying from a rubbishy company. [Edit] Just saw his update, he did, he was just impatient, like me :p

I've learnt from my own mistakes that it's not worth rushing things by going with some unheard of company that claims they have stock.

Yes it would be nice to get a more sympathetic responce but you can't expect every company to just send you replacement things at an extra cost because you said it didn't arrive.

For example if you buy an CD or DVD from Play they ask you to wait several weeks before reporting it missing in the post and they will send out another.

It seems a bit harsh to come on here ranting and raving because a parcel hasn't arrived after a week.

Next day should be next day, unless there is an actual problem. It happens, but the company mentioned haven't exactly been helpful have they?
 
Did you pay extra for garuanteed/signed for next day delivery?

No 1/2 days garantee`d it said when i placed the order. i contacted them 3 days later for my first encounter.

either way im phoning tommorow and if they havent sent it out next day delivery or its not turning up that day im going to get a cashback from my visa credit card company.... then i will order the mouse from a reputable company OCUK.
