Looking for a small city car can spend upto 3k

Cars i have in mind That do good mpg

citroen c1
Aygo
Pug 107
Nissan Micra
hyundai i10

Even looked at an old 106 Pug, any ohers i should consider ?
 
The wife has a 1.1l 206 and it costs buttons to run and service (mainly do myself). Bit naff in a straight line but fun-ish to chuck about too. I had a 106 yonks ago which was also good. Wouldn't like to spend hours and hours in either though
 
The c1 trio will get relatively close to that, close to if not 40mpg, not sure about the hyundai or nissan. 50mpg no chance though

I had a 2003 Toyota Yaris T3, 1.3vvt. It was used primarily to commute to Manchester city centre and back but was also used for everything from day trips and quick trips to the shop. In the time I had it, it averaged 47mpg and got about 40 around town.

Sounds like one i can add to my list.

What i have now is a Astra 1.6 Duel Fuel but its a bit big for my needs.
