The Apple Haters’ 7 Stages of Grief

I see this exact thing regularly at work. I often have customers talking to me about their Apple kit (that they hate) about how much they use it and what for (but it's still ****) and making excuses all the way through justifying why they bought it even though it's clearly crap.

Also talking about the next thing they'll probably buy even though that'll be crap as well and Apple are complete *******s for x reason.

Reminds me the comments section for the iPhone 5 I saw on an article about it.

Some guy said his friend had an expensive BOSE iPod dock which didn't work with the iPhone 5 due to the new connector. He goes on to say his friend is annoyed with Apple for changing the connector on the new phone as it now doesn't fit the dock. He is now looking at Android instead and the Galaxy S3 which is superior technology anyway (according to the guy raging in the comment about the normal Apple vs Android stuff).

The next comment of "What makes him think the Galaxy S3 will fit his expensive BOSE iPod dock then!" made me laugh.

It's not like other phones keep the same connector either. Micro USB, Mini USB, proprietary connections.

Getting your knickers in a twist because Apple changed their ageing 30pin dock connector is a little silly. Yes it is annoying if you use some accessories (and I have tow different leads for my iPad and iPhone now) but it was inevitable given how Apple are reducing the thickness of their devices.

Also he could have got an adapter cable! :D

can i say apple are **** if i post a pic of a iphone 5 box with the ocuk forum in teh background or am i still just a hater?

I own an IP4S and a MBP Early 2011. I will be going back to the PC/Android as I have just lost the love for Apple.

Well actually, pretty much every major phone manufacturer (including Apple, oddly enough) agreed to standardise to MicroUSB a few years back.

Apple seem to be the only party involved in that agreement who haven't actually adhered to it though.

I haven't really looked but i'm not aware of any major players in the phone business releasing a non MicroUSB compatible phone in the last couple of years.

Go back 5 years and what you've said was fairly accurate.
