A woman in Ohio has been ordered to wear an 'idiot' sign after driving on a footpath to avoid a school bus picking up children.


Shena Hardin, 32, will have to stand at a junction as a warning to others, after she was repeatedly caught on camera driving dangerously.


The bus driver captured her in the act on his mobile phone and then contacted police, who lay in wait on September 11.

While I agree completely with the sentiments of the above posters "She really is an idiot" and I also agree with the punishment served - though I personally would have requested she receive further training before being allowed back on the road!

Can you imagine the outcry from all the "human right" ***** that would hit the Daily Fail front page (and others) if the same punishment were ordered over here?
 
Can someone explain the video. It looks like they were well aware of what was going to happen before it happened. So did it happen all the time?

Yep, as said above, like clockwork she would leave for work as the schoolbus was pulling over to pick up the schoolkids and as the schoolbus took a whole minute or so out of her precious day, she drove onto the pavement to overtake the bus.
